It's been two years since I've been in rowdees. It played a significant part in my life. Never knew I could come so far, having people whom I never knew could be so dear to me.Though I've known most of the dudes during my secondary school days, but it was in 2004 that Bao,Peg and I joined rwds.
Back then...
It started with the Xmas bbq of rwds. We were invited for their bbq on 24/12/2003. Had fun and laughter with people like Keong,Tong,Senget and Alex. Since then, we got to know more of each other.As some of the dudes were working at Nippon Express back then. Hanged out more often since the bbq.
It was another gathering at Bao's place for CNY visiting in 2004. Thereafter, it was to my place. It was the MSN conference conversation that we got our rwd official number in feb 2004. The journey begins for the 3 of us. Rwd.26 .27 .28...
We, the girls, never expect so much being a part of rwd. It was such a big group with a couple of ladies only. We were 17 back then. Our first Sentosa trip with rwd, first chalet with rwd, first valentines' day with rwd,first midnight movie with rwd. Lots of first times.
Had relationships in rwd too. Had good and bad times with rwd. The amount of fun and laughter with rwd. Never failed to fool around with Tong, Keong,An and so much more. (This few so happen to be the common ones.) When I'm being bullied by the rest of the dudes, Mond never failed to stand up for me. (He's known for Mr Gentlemen in Rwd. ) In love and out of love. It was them (namely my bestest and besties) who were there for me when I was down.
Through so much happenings along the journey, a couple of besties and bestest stepped into my life. They are the best that I could ever asked for. The laughters they shared with me, the time they spent with me when I was down and needed a listening ear. I could never forget those times in my entire life. Never. It may seemed a little to others, but often to me, it has always been my blessing. I loved them dearly from the bottom of my heart. Each and everyone that is important to me.
Without rowdees, my life would never be the same. Memories kept flashing back.It brought tears rolling down my cheeks. I knew I would be heartbroken to say goodbye to all these wonderful times. Right now, I missed those days 2 years back. I missed those Ocha days, simple and bo liao. I missed those days I always fight with Tong and An. I missed those days where I could simply pour my emotions to my bestest and besties. I MISSED MYSELF too!!!
Alright, I know I'm being emo. But I missed loads of rwds that were so simple and bo liao. I missed them. The memories. I could never turn back time. However, I wished for some to return with the continuation of this journey... I knew something, I loved rOwdEes. =)
