HAPPY LUNAR NEW YEAR!! It's here and gone. Been super busy working and playing at the same time. Super dead and tired can. I think I had less then 24 hrs of sleep for the week lor!! Walking zombie indeed.
Okay now I have to crack my brains, thinking of what I've done for CNY this year.
17Feb.Sat.
CNY eve. Worked till 11.30 and back home for chores. Met Tong to pass him his stuff then off to reunion dinner at Tuas with cousins,Uncle and Grandma. The dishes were nice except for the soft shell crab which is abit too oily.
Went up to Grandma's place a lil while then it was back home. An early eve so met Tong,Jason,An and Sharon up. Had a lil drink by Jason's blk. James,Bg,Kuku and Bert joined later.Hanged out till 11 ish when all of us got a lil tired and decided to head home for rest.
18Feb.Sun.
Happy Chinese New Year!! Had 9 hours of sleep and that was the only time I slept enough for the beginning for CNY.
The usual. Dressed up and off to Grandma's place before noon. Waited for everyone else to arrive and lunch. Then it was gambling time!! Tough luck though. But it's just the first day, first round. After greeting the usual relatives and getting my ang baos, it was 4 when we left and head for Granny's place.
Greeted Granny then it was off to Aunt's place for more gambling and makan!Played poker and mj and won back those I've lost at Grandma's. haha. =)
After Mj end at 11.30, it was rushing back to Cs for movie session with Senget,Fai and Meifang. Supre romantic combination! Had Protege. Nice show. Entertaining scenes though! Supper at Mac after the movie. it was 3am when I got home!
19Feb.Mon.
Working in less then 2 hrs time. =( Did not slept the night through and was on the phone with Tong. Off for work and got my first ang bao from dear Shiow! =) So sweet of our MISS SUPER NICE supervisor!
After battling with the war, it was home. Asked Dad to fetch me home cause I was super tired! KO-ed and slept through till 5 ish. Washed up and dressed up for Senget's place. The Yu Sheng dinner annually! Met up Tong,James,Jason,Keong,Felky and Ah Ni. An,Ben,Ron,Hock,Ks,Charis and Sharon were up first. Alex,Qinyao,Fai,Mond,Bao and Amy joined shortly.
Thanks to Senget's Mum that we get good food year after year. After the dinner it was a lil gambling of show hand. Risky game but I won! Haha. Then it was Yu Sheng time. Rowdees HUAT AR!
After dinner and stuffs, it was much discussion of clubbing plans. Finally decided to head down for OBar at MS. First time there. Nice place though.Music's R&B. Liqour's cheap. Nice club. =)
Party and party! Keong puked and headed back to rest first.
Went back in different timings as people like Hock's enjoying the night though!! Haha.Cabbed back with Chee,James and Qinyao. Met up at Mac with An and Fai couple. Homed at 4 ish. Super KO-ed!!
20Feb.Tues.
Got up at 12 ish. Meeting up for Alex's place for steamboat lunch! Should be meeting at 1.30 but it was the partying last night, leaving us waking up abit later. Cabbed with Tong,James and Jason at 2.30. Had round 2 of steamboat.
People included.Ben,Paul,Senget,An,Keong,Mond,Fai,Chee,Hock,Qinyao,Bao,Felky,Sharon and Ah Ni. Gambling of Blackjack after makan! Winning 8 bucks in the end. Happy!! Guys booking in for army as usual hence the rest of us left at 6 ish for bowling at Safra.
Better skills this time and I even got a strike! Not bad not bad. It was 9 ish after bowling and dinner at Mac. Fai and Senget headed for movie date while Tong and Ah Ni head for my place. Kuku joined for a game of blackjack. Mond and Bg joined soonafter Tong left after midnight to get his stuff from Fai. Bert joined at 12 ish.
Gambled all the way till 3am! I was halfway falling asleep after withdrawing my bets. Haha.
21Feb.Wed.
Got up at 11 ish. Went to Kuan Im Temple at "4 horse Rd" for prayers. Uncle drove us there and waited for Dad to have lunch. Btw, it was my first time praying at the Kuan Im Temple. Super jammed pack can! So scary cause of those joss sticks that might poke and burn you anytime. Esp those kiasu ah mas and aunties la.KNS.
Prayed for blessings through the year and for everyone's safety. Esp those going overseas training ar! After lunch was back home to rest a lil while before meeting Felky and Ah Ni up to head for airport to send Tong off for his India trip.
Met Fai,Chee,Senget,Mond and Bao at airport. Tong was having his feast with his army friends while we had ours too. But then he's so bo sim la. We came all the way to see him off, but he left so early with his gang. KNS.
After bidding goodbyes, it was off to Town and Chinatown for dim sum and ktv all thanks to Senget!Cause it's his last night in Singapore before his india trip the next day!
It was not Ktv instead it was crazy shouting and stunt performances all around by Fai and Chee! Had a great time occupied though. Homed super late at almost 1 cabbing back with the Luas. Morning the next day again!
22Feb.Thurs.
After work was home then out to buy stuffs and buy lunch. Bumped into Senget hence we do shopping together for his last min trip stuff. Homed and napped. Headed for airport at 4 ish with bro. Felky was feeling sick last min.
Met Senget and Chee with family and makan at Fish n Co. Thanks to Senget's Mum again for a treat! Had seafood platter for 2. Damn shiok! Mond and Bao joined later.Haha.After makan was bidding goodbyes for them while I sent him in all the way.
Ah Ni joined and had a lil round of scouting of duty free goods. Took a long walk to the gate right at the end. Waited for Senget to head in and bid our final goodbyes. We are going to miss you Senget!! ( ok la Tong too la...) We will see you guys again 17 days later!!
After the sent off it was heading back to Tamp meeting Mummy for CNY visiting to Nanny's place. Time really flies!! I miss my childhood days with Nanny. Now she's grandma of 2 herself. The kids remind of myself, especially my pictures still lies in her photo album. Fond memories!
Hanged out till 8 ish and head for makan at 107. Bused back and now I'm writing this super long essay!! I'm super tired!! Working tomorrow at 2.30pm. Heng ar.Can sleep more!!
But now I'm in a dillema. SIA Engineering called for an interview for next Tues. Should I go? Cause it's a definite full time job but I'm going back to school in July. How?? Aiyo!!!
